Kristy K. James’ first goal in life was to work in law enforcement, until the night she called the police to check out a scary noise in her yard. Realizing that she might someday have to check out scary noises in other dark yards if she continued on that path, she turned to her other favorite love… writing. Since then, her days have been filled with being a mom and reluctant zookeeper (7 pets), creating stories and looking for trouble in her kitchen.

I’ve decided that I need to add a little bit more about me, as an author. While I love to read any good book, I’ve never felt that the plots must follow ‘Formula WXYZ’ to qualify as good. While I’ll admit that W+X+Y=Z has turned out some wonderful stories, sometimes J+C+O can equal Z, too. In other words, sometimes different works out very nicely.
I guess you could say I’m different. In my choices for movies and television, in my choices for books, and certainly in the way I write. My style might not be a good fit for everyone, but I know I’m not the only one who likes good, clean novels that don’t always follow the guidelines the traditional publishers have made their gold standard.

I’m writing the blogs and then using comments and likes to draft a non fiction book on Spirituality.
That sounds really interesting, Katrina. I’ve got the links so I can check them out tomorrow when I’m more awake. 🙂
Hey Kristy, I’m just trying to get in touch so I can email you the copy of Simply Prayer that you won on Natalie Hartford’s blog March 5, 2012. My email address and contact information is on my web site. Can’t wait to get it to you. 🙂
Hi, Virginia…I guess I didn’t realize that I’d won anything. But thank you! I just sent you an email and look forward to reading your book. 🙂
Nice blog you’ve got up here! Keep writing and shining, Kristy! 🙂
Subhan Zein
Thanks, Subhan. You have a nice blog, too. It’s nice to meet you. 🙂
Great blog….KEEP WRITING…..Loved Enza as you can see by my review.
I also put it on Goodreads, Shelfari, LibraryThing, BookBundlz, Barnes and Noble.
Of course I also put it on Amazon as well, and I am surprised I was able to put it on Amazon since it isn’t out yet. I am glad I put it on Amazon last night since I made your day. 🙂 Have a great weekend.

Well, I found it, Elizabeth. For some reason WordPress sometimes filters out NON-spam comments, and your first post was one of them. I’m glad I checked the folder tonight. I’m glad you like the blog, but I’m really happy you loved Enza. Of all the books I’ve written, this is the one I love the most. And I’m so happy that others are loving it, too. I will have to go read it again on the other sites you mentioned. I DID make my day. I think I’ve read it about two dozen times now. Hope you have a great Sunday. 🙂
